The Data Mailers
scheduled to go out in May have been delayed. Problems with
the standard mailer as well as adjustments to data items is
needed before the notices can be mailed. Our goal is to have
these items mailed by the end of June.
Property owners should expect to receive this document late
in June or early July. The purpose of this step is to insure
that our office has the proper inventory for each parcel. A
complete recollection of the property data by a contractor
would cost approximately $300,000. With the cooperation of
the public, combined with the work of sales verification and
physical collections, we should have a adequate inventory to
work with.
Property owners will receive two copies of the document.
They will be asked to review the information and make any
necessary corrections and return one copy to our office even
if no changes are noted. This will not only allow us to
determine who has reviewed the information, but give us
contact information for each owner. |
